Traveling is all about getting out of your comfort zone and trying new experiences but it can come with a handful of potentially stressful situations. If you are planning on hitting the road then we have devised a bunch of handy travel tips to make your journey more smooth and stress-free.

First things first, downloading google offline maps before entering the country always you to see a certain region even without wifi. You may be stuck without internet connections in certain areas around the world, this is a handy tool to be prepared ahead of time. You will sigh a breath of relief that you downloaded it if you are in that situation.

Don’t travel with so many pairs of shoes if possible. Shoes are bulky and they take up a lot of space, bringing with you a few versatile pairs of shoes will be much easier. In the worst-case scenario, you can purchase a pair of shoes abroad. Oh and bring clothing for all kinds of seasons. You never know, even in a location that is seasonally hot there could be an occasional unexpected chilly evening. Make sure to bring some light sweaters just in case.

Avoid third traveler booking agencies because they are not so convenient when it comes to changing plans or itineraries. You’ll find that when traveling (especially when backpacking), plans don’t always play out the way you initially intended, which means you’ll need to cancel hotel bookings last minute. Use websites that offer free cancellations when circumstances change.

Bookmark posts on Instagram to remember great places to visit. This requires some planning ahead of time to research cute spots in your desired location. Instagram and interest are havens for travel inspiration so make sure to save posts that will be relevant and useful in due time. This will be way easier than arriving at the scene and wasting time figuring out what’s best.
