Spreading Thanks

As Thanksgiving quickly approaches it is hard not to think about all the amazing dishes that will be right at our kitchen tables. Turkey, stuffing, and cranberry galore.

Unfortunatlelty, there is a great reality that we all must face. Not everyone can afford or prepare a meal as great as one experiences year after year. With this being the case, it is with great love that one takes their appreciation toward the holiday meal and shares it with those who need it the most.

There is a multitude of ways to go about sharing our gratitude with others. Whether it is volunterring at a soup kitchen, donating canned food items or even inviting guests to your home, each act of kindness can go a very long way, promise.

As much as these acts of kindness can seem overwhelming since thanksgiving is a holiday that requires a lot of time in the kitchen, just know that doing something as small as donating could make or break someone else’s experience on this ever so delicious holiday.

So, when one is at the grocery store buying their supplies to cook all their favorite dishes it is best to keep others in the back of your mind. Everyone deserves a great Thanksgiving dinner and if it takes a little bit of help and dedication, why not be the one to accomplish that.
