As people in the workforce, we are constantly scrolling through our electronic devices. As we check the latest office updates, ensure our projects are running smoothly and are constantly looking at our emails, this is pretty much what our days consist of.

Whether we like it or not, emails will always be flooding in at all times of the day, even in the middle of the night. It is like our second job.

While we check our inbox, we believe that we aren’t missing a single email sent to us. But truth is, we are. As we scroll through our overwhelming browser, we forget to check something we know as our spam folder.

Doing this can cause a multitude of problems in our lives. All due to the fact that we miss very important information that is being sent to us. As much as we would love to believe that our accounts can detect right from wrong, they can’t.

Imagine waiting months for a reply and thinking you never received one. And little did you know, it was sitting right in your spam folder.

So ladies and gents, next time you are waiting patiently for that one email that could make or break your fame, ensure to check all folders in your mail even the spam.

We get that this could be common sense but just think about the

many times we didn’t do exactly this. Instead of panicking that we have been nonchalantly making one of the biggest mistakes of our lives (not actually), just start scrolling away! We never know what we could find!
