The first thing you need to consider when preparing dinner for your guests is what protein you will serve. Protein is a big part of any menu. Now we know that everyone has their own dietary needs so deciding on a protein might be a bit challenging but it can still be done. There are four main sources of protein that you can look at. This includes chicken, beef, turkey, and fish. Do note that if you have any vegetarians or vegans in attendance, you may want to go with something like soy. Once you have selected your protein, you can move on to your carbohydrates.

Carbohydrates are what make you full. Now you don’t have to have too many of them because you really don’t want your guests complaining of stomach aches. This is why you should always look at potatoes, pasta, and rice. All of these can be made in a number of different ways that will leave your guests really happy. Lastly, you need to have some vegetables on your plates. Remember, having a balanced meal is important which is where veggies come in. Try to go with veggies that everyone likes to stay on the safe side.
