We’re about to say something controversial: coffee is becoming a thing of the past. Sorry, coffee-lovers, but tea is really where it’s at. There are just so many different kinds of flavorful, healthy teas. People are slowly making the transition from hot liquid mud to fresh tea. This, in our books, is a good thing. Yet the thing with tea is that there are too many kinds to chose from. That’s why we’ve listed some of our own personal favorites.
The word Matcha is derived from the combined synergy of two Japanese words: “Ma”, meaning rubbed or grounded; “Cha” meaning tea. Matcha tea is a (surprise, surprise) powdered tea often associated with the Japanese art of tea drinking and Zen. It is a flavorful drink rich in high antioxidant content. In fact, a single cup of matcha tea has as many antioxidants as ten regular cups of tea. Incredible.
