Most Unique Sports In The World

Much like music, sports is something that brings people from all walks of life together. There is just something about competition and sportsmanship that really connects people. This is why hundreds of not thousands of people tune in to watch sports like football, soccer, and even golf to mention a few. With that said, there are sports that are seen as common and then there are sports that are a bit more unique. Unique sports aren’t really broadcasted the way common or well-popular sports are. This is why we decided to bring you some of the world’s most unique sports.

What do you think of when you read the words, water sports? Chances are you think of professional swimming and surfing. Now you aren’t wrong for thinking of these sports. However, what you may not know of that there are actually a few unique water sports in the world. This includes underwater hockey and underwater rugby. That’s right, ordinarily, both these sports are played on land. However, in certain parts of the world, they are actually played underwater. Both these sports follow the same rules and principles as their original sports. It simply has an added twist which is that players need to be able to hold their breath for a really long time.

When thinking about volleyball, you may think that it couldn’t possibly be a unique sport. But you are wrong. There is in fact a sport called Sepaktakraw. This unique sport originated in Thailand and has become increasingly popular. Now much like volleyball, this sport makes use of two teams who aim to get a ball over the diving net. However, there is a twist. The twist is that players aren’t allowed to use their hands. Instead, players of this sport need to use their feet to get the ball onto the other side.
