Ramen noodles are the perfect food to eat when you are on a tight budget. But eating it every day can become really boring – just ask students in college. Yes, there are a variety of different flavors to choose from but at the end of the day, you are still just eating ramen. However, there are a few ways you can add a little spice to your meal. This doesn’t literally have to be spice – it can honestly be anything.

When you think of adding something to your ramen, you have to remember that ramen is basically a type of pasta. You should also know that good broth makes for good ramen. With that in mind, you can really do almost anything. Let’s start off with the chicken. It’s a protein that almost everyone eats and should have (unless they are vegetarian or vegan). You can simply pan fry some chicken (don’t forget to spice it first), and once it’s cooked, you can add it to your ramen. Steak is also a good protein to add to your ramen noodles. You can start by preparing your steak the way you usually would and create your dish from there. Once your steak is cooked to your liking you can add it to your meal. As for other proteins or meats that can be added to ramen, it can really be anything. This includes bacon, pork belly, and even pork tenderloin.
Now you should know that sides like eggs go really well with ramen. In fact, many people and even restaurants add soft-boiled or fried eggs to their ramen. This is a really easy side to have with your meal. Any good ramen broth is filled with great flavors. You can achieve this with chicken or even beef broth. Feel free to add scallions or even mushrooms to your ramen.
