Honoring Fallen Soldier’s Children

If one hasn’t heard of Gary Sinise, actor and musician, well here is the reason to know all about him. This actor has been featured in a multitude of world-renowned films with Forest Gump being one of them. Other than his work of fame, Sinise has taken a huge part of his time and dedication to a multitude of philanthropies.

 

With his huge heart and ability to do for others, Sinise established a foundation under his name “which serves the needs of veterans, defenders, first responders, their families, and communities,” according to Bored Panda. In support of the US military, the foundation has launched a program called the “Snowball Express.”

 

In specifics, the program honors fallen soldiers’ children by taking them to the place where all the magic happens, Disney World. Over the past few years, the program has been in place, there has been about a total of 2k children that have been flown into Orlando for the trip of a lifetime, lasting a total of five nights.

 

Now, this is a program that is truly incredible and should be in the spotlight more often. Thanks to all of the efforts of the Gary Sinise Foundation, children are given the opportunity to feel like a Princess and Prince, while honoring there fallen one.
