Ebola Vaccine

The World Health Organization announced that it “had prequalified Ervebo as the first vaccine for Ebola,” according to NowThis. This vaccine has the ability to possibly control the virus that is rapidly spreading in many areas. Ebola is a virus that any human can get through contact with blood or bodily fluids from a person that is already effected.

Currently, there are many countries that are at extreme risk for the virus due to their lack of healthcare and environmental factors. With these high risks of obtaining the virus, doctors started to use the vaccine in the Democratic Republic of the Congo. This is an area that has been affected for quite some time now.

Over the past few years, the Ebola virus has been so severe and intense that it has spread everywhere and anywhere. Now, with this approved vaccine there is a higher chance that people will be able to be preventive of the virus.

In fact, Ebola is rare but deadly. Thousands of people have passed after they got the virus. Hopefully, with the vaccine, this epidemic can be finally put to a halt especially after all the damage it has already done.
