While it’s always nice and encouraged to release your artistic side wherever possible, we weren’t quite aware of how far one could really take this concept. But apparently, nowadays, the sky really is the limit, and if you can dream it, then you can really make just about anything happen. A young hairstylist from the city of Hanoi, Vietnam has been creating some seriously intricate and detailed artworks on the backs of his client’s heads. The thirty year old stylish, Truong Xuan Tuan, has been working in the hair business for an impressive decade already, and has been trying out a variety of techniques and unique designs for the past five years or so.
Tuan, who started out by making portraits of well-known Vietnamese characters from TV series, made headlines for the first time back in 2018 after his work on the head of Cristiano Ronaldo, the Portuguese soccer star went viral all over social media. And while this of course, has led to many people constantly coming into his hair salon and wanting to receive portraits of their friends, family or favorite celebrities on the back of their heads – Tuan only agrees to create portraits that he’s already practiced and is confident enough to do properly.
While this can surely be disappointing for some, coming in with ideas that are likely to be rejected, we admire his desire to offer only quality work, especially when it comes to people’s hair, something that isn’t your average piece of artwork, as you can all surely understand, although at the same time, when it comes to a man’s hair, you can always just shave everything off, so it really wouldn’t be the end of the world in all honesty. Nonetheless, Tuan makes sure to have nothing short of an absolutely impressive portfolio of work to show for himself on the back of people’s heads.
