A Ruthless Ranking of Cheetos Flavors

Love it or hate it, Cheetos is here to stay. Heck, who are we kidding? We all love Cheetos, and those who say they don’t are just too afraid to admit it; they’re scared of their Cheetos love, they’re scared of themselves. So, why not embrace our degrading love for the snack by ranking our favorite Cheetos flavors? This, of course, is a rhetorical question; there is absolutely no reason not to rank the best Cheetos flavors. Then again, some people may say that there’s no point in doing such a thing. To that, we say…. uhh…

A lot of people are quick to knock on the Cheetos Puffs Souffles, but frankly, we find them to be nothing less than exquisite. The soft, pillowy texture allows for a certain degree of cheesiness that you won’t find in regular cheese Cheetos.

Why fix something that isn’t broken? There’s just no outdoing the classics when it comes to Cheetos. Sure, there are even older flavors than Flamin’ Hot, but we believe that this is when Cheetos truly managed to ascend into salty-snack superstardom. It’s as the philosopher Freidrich Nietzsche once said: “Without Flamin’ Hot Cheetos, life would be a mistake.” Okay, maybe he didn’t say that.

There’s only one thing that could top the extravagant flavor of Flamin’ Hot Cheetos, and that would be the Extra Flamin’ Hot Cheetos (didn’t see that one coming did ‘ya?) The thing about Extra Flamin’ Hot Cheetos is that they’re always a trade-off: as delicious as they are, so too will they make you suffer. After all, Cheetos doesn’t just go into the body. It also has to go out. You know what we mean.
