Mark Zuckerberg, the 33 year old founding father of Facebook is unsurprisingly a very busy man.
His company has a market cap of an entire $547 billion and was ranked the number one place to work, with reviewers noting that Zuckerberg as a person was a big factor to this. And while he dedicates most of his daily hours to Facebook, he still makes it a priority to travel, exercise regularly and spend time with his wife and children.
His secret to productivity it to always try to stay balanced and set goals for himself. Here’s what a normal day looks like for Mark.
He wakes up at 8am and right away checks of all of his Social Media application, Facebook first of course. Once he’s been updated with the world, he exercises (about three times a week), and sometimes will go on a run with his dog. He’s very easy going about his breakfast, since he doesn’t like to spend time on small unimportant details, which is exactly why he wears the exact same thing every day (almost). His work outfit includes a grey T-shirt, jeans and sneakers.
He is reported to work an average of 50 to 60 hours a week at Facebook, but of course his mind is constantly working towards the company. He is also reported to even have help managing his own social-media accounts, with a team of twelve people that help him remove spam on his Facebook page.
In the rare moments that Zuckerberg is not working he is learning Mandarin Chinese and aims to read as many books as possible. And regardless if he is working or traveling, he also makes a point of spending time with Priscilla, his wife and their two daughters August and Max. He tucks his children into bed every night with a traditional Jewish prayer.
